We welcome back Soprano Section Leader Pamela Jones. In 2017, she sang thirty performances of the role of Lily with the Royal Danish Theatre in Porgy and Bess. Winner of the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Dundalk (Ireland) International Drama Festival for her portrayal of Sister Mary Amnesia in the musical, Nunsense, Pamela Jones enjoys bringing colorful characters to life. She had another opportunity to do so when she performed the role of Miss Rose in the New York premiere of Séance on a Wet Afternoon by Stephen Schwartz at New York City Opera. During the twelve years that she sang with the opera company she was featured in many main stage, education department, and Contemporary American Opera Lab (VOX Festival) productions. She has also been a soloist at Merkin Hall, Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall. Ms. Jones earned her Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
